Identical? How can you say that. It's like this:

Under fascism, the state controls what you produce, how much you charge for it, who you must hire and how much you must pay them, who your suppliers are and how much you must pay them. But the state gives you a piece of paper that says you own your business.

In socialism, they take back the piece of paper.

In communism (which never happens) they tear up the piece of paper.

As as Friedrich Hayek points out in “The Road To Serfdom”, political freedom and economic freedom are inextricably connected, and an infringement on one (as socialism most CERTAINLY is) invariably infringes on the other.

We allow Leftists to get away with fundamental flaws in their argument, and one of the biggest ones is that socialism is “fair”.

It isn’t.

What is “fair” is allowing individuals to determine how much their OWN efforts are worth instead having that evaluation made by a faceless group of people which is then impressed upon you, like it or not.

To be fair, he’s actually correct since democratic and dictatorships are one and the same. Just ask the French, especially during their revolution. That being said, that just shows how democracy is just evil incarnate.
