Hundreds more jobs -- this time non-tech -- are coming to Austin.
Auto insurance company Progressive announced Thursday that it plans to create 1,000 jobs in Austin as part of a national hiring push to add 10,000 workers in 2019.
The new Austin positions will be in sales, customer service and claims at Progressives contact center, which is off East Ben White Boulevard. The center is the companys main bilingual service facility, and some of the positions will be for workers who speak English and Spanish.

I also switch channels to avoid Liberty Mutual ads, but for another reason--it annoys me that they act like they own the Statue of Liberty.
The term doesn’t come to mind but it’s all designed to discreetly influence people. It’s very subtle.

One of my sisters works in Maryland, where I resided.
She has bonded with two other conservatives. They are called by their co-workers the Amigos because they share the same conservative values. LOL
I had no idea that Progressive had customer service people.
Woe to you if you ever have to make a claim after one of their customers hits you, even though they were 100% at fault.
