I’ve often wondered why, so many big cities with enormous problems, are strongly Democrat politically.
And it makes me wonder, is there a connection between Democrats running these places for generations, and the major problems facing those cities.

Uh, is the MTA a city or state-controlled entity? (I seemed to recall a recent article about the NYC subway being under the state to some extent. (unintentional pun left in)
It may be Cuomo's problem, at least partly.
