Looks like I’ll be boycotting the Oscars again.
Soon AI will replace all these ‘actors’ ... the sooner the better.
Hollywierd thinks itself as America’s church and has to preach to the sheep.
I’ve already done them the favor. I only watch anime for video entertainment now. The quality is vastly superior in every category imaginable - art, story, script, characters, originality, etc. Leftists have reduced Western media culture to a blend of hypercommercial recycling and Communist propaganda.
To think that Hollywood has gone from blacklisting Communists, to blacklisting anyone who isn’t a Communist, in such a short time...
Have they found a politically correct host for this shindig yet????
In other words, “Best Picture” will really mean “Best Propaganda”
What I want to know is who the hell turned “woke” into an adjective?
Once again, knuckle-dragger that I am, have to admit never bothering to find out WTF this means.
I gather it is millennial lib speak, so do not care to find out either.
It means “Communist”.
“Woke” toward the world, but dead asleep toward God.
It means that someone has sipped the Flavor Aid and committed to “the struggle”.
I’m seeing “The Ballad of Buster Scruggs” a few times. I liked that movie.

Used to be you just had to be a good picture. Now you just got to be “on message.” Ah, the good old days before the leftists ruined it for everyone.
Similarly I’m helping them find themselves. I no longer go see any of the new trash they produce. I only watch or re-watch classic films (well, I consider them classic) in the comfort of my own home. Produce something worthy, something entertaining, and they might see some of my $ again. Or don’t. No skin off my nose if all of Hollywood collapses.
Who actually watches this feces fest?
Will they bitch about Trump as they accept awards? Is all that scripted yet?

Can't remember the last time I sat thru a broadcast. I remember seeing that Indian chick stand in for Brando when he won for Godfather. I'm pretty sure that's the last one I watched. I think I was 12 at the time. It's a useless, meaningless award and show. They all are. Like the Nobel Peace Prize.
