Ocasio-Cortez: System that allows billionaires is ‘immoral’
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said in an interview on Monday that she believes a system that allows people to become billionaires is “immoral.”
The New York Democrat made the statement while responding to a question from writer Ta-Nehisi Coates at a Martin Luther King Jr. Day event in Harlem.
“I do think that a system that allows billionaires to exist when there are parts of Alabama where people are still getting ringworm because they don’t have access to public health is wrong,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

Billionaires being nearly the exclusive source of the Democrats’ funding, this will not go over well with the donors. Subtract their two dozen or so billionaire donors and the Democratic Party ceases to exist.

Where in this COUNTRY do people not have healthcare? This idiot needs to realize that these hated billionaires pay a lot of taxes, and provide lots of jobs. In fact, the billionaires help to fund free health clinics, through numerous charities.
The next truth is, some people want to eat steak and others are satisfied with hamburger, ( in her case, tofu). No matter how much steak is offered most return to hamburger.
A system that unnecessarily restricts our freedom is immoral.
