Oh my, Steven.

That's a lot of derp money the Attorney General is seizing. Is that in accordance with an Executive Order? The January 1st one? I'm not too knowledgeable on the EO thing. Above my pay grade and whatnot.

This is a seizure of assets from the action taken by ]SESSIONS[ D-J against BackPage following case posted on these threads last April. There are a number of companies that were part of the lawsuit and now we’re getting a peek at who & to what degree they were held accountable. This was a notable human trafficking case and with regards to the child prostitution aspects they reportedly had messages from the owner / proprietor of BackPage telling prostitutes how to “market” themselves on the site by using code words and such. It appears Perkins Coie, being a preferred law firm of the deep state, got caught with their fingers in the cookie jar.
