Defunding Planned Parenthood was a theme of the Republican election in 2016. Sadly, nothing was done. I think we can put the majority of the blame for that on Paul Ryan. Trump, to his credit, has tried to keep the issue alive.
But there is a bigger problem now than just RINO's lying and siding with the opposition. The Supreme Court seems hostile to Defunding Planned Parenthood, as shown in their December actions on the issue:
