Thanks for the warning. You're the second one to point that out. I consider that a consensus. Plan to start the vinegar treatment this evening and order the soap/shampoo treatment this weekend. Will report back - hopefully with good news in the near future.

Also, so sorry to hear about your friend. That's horrible for something that was in a relative sense, a very minor issue compared to the risk involved.
