I was born in ‘56. I got a draft card, but never heard from them again. They never even called us up for physicals. You cannot equate that with being drafted and sent out to guard rice paddies. I don’t think the ‘55 crew had it any different.

Same here. I have run into people younger than me claiming to be Vietnam Veterans. I usually ask them how that works?
