I’ve never been to Yosemite. I’d be willing to bet, though, that it has one thing in common with the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone: there are signs all over the place warning people not to do stupid stuff.
I’m not sure why so many people now don’t seem to grasp that places like national parks aren’t Disneyland or movie sets and that if you aren’t careful you can actually DIE there.

Yeah. Going through Glacier National in MT, it went from warm and fuzzy to downright scary in a blink. Keep your wits. Eat your grits.

There are. But there a lot of steep cliffs that have no barriers. You can look over the edge and look down 1,000 feet. It makes your belly turn over. I think thats your brain telling you to back up.

In the world we live in today reality is a concept that like all other concepts can be accepted or ignored at will. Most normals grasp reality very well. Many deluded, even highly educated fools, do not. They never had a first hand acquaintance with the laws of physics, and think as you say, its all just TV, and there are do overs if it doesnt work the way they want .
