I grow potatoes in 5 gallon buckets. I get good yields and no bugs. 2 harvests per year.

I’ve tried container potatoes including a tall 35 gallon garbage can .....pitiful harvest...

My neighbor used to plant a large garden.

She planted potatoes vertically-—in a stack of used tires.

Plant the bottom layer & get them sprouting. ADD one tire, more soils & fertilizer, and the plant will continue growing & making more potatoes underground. Water normally.

Keep adding 1 tire, as the plant gets tall enough . She would have vertical stacks 5-6 tires tall, with LARGE potatoes at the bottom, and smaller potatoes nearer the top.

Took VERY LITTLE room in the garden. Could even be done in just a small space in your backyard
