#7. DC govt is against “Cuba Libre”, free Cuba. The City Council has had a bunch of reds on it since the late 60s - Julius Hobson (half-assed prima donna Marxist); Hilda Mason (hardcore Marxist); Marion Barry, later to become the Mayor for Life cokehead, wife beater and adulter; and Ivanhoe Donaldson, Vice Mayor, who went to jail for embezzling about $500,000 from govt poverty funds (old SNCC leftist).
The DC Statehood Party was literally an arm of the Communist Party USA with its “constitution” being written by CP-DC head/chairman, now Prof. Maurice Jackson (CISPES, Georgetown Un professor now; WEB DuBois School for Marxist Studies teacher, etc). Head of the DC Statehood Party was Marxist Josephine Butler who was the DC contact for the CP/KGB “world Peace Council” delegation visit in 1978 (See the WPC”s booklet about this tour with photos of Butler, other reds and members of Congress Conyers, Don. The restaurant was being punished as much for being for a “Free Cuba” as it was for trying to stop a possible sexual pervert from voyageurism on their women customers.
