It was directed by Kim Gehrig, an Australian-born and London-based ad director who has previously shot commercials for Uber, Gap and UK's John Lewis
Her ad for feminine hygiene firm Libresse - known as Bodyform in the UK - featured singing female genitals
Other work includes a short film suggesting Australian men turned to bodybuilding because of bullying

The director behind Gillette's controversial new ad is a woman whose past work includes an ode to female genitals and a short film that explores 'toxic masculinity' featuring a protagonist whose life crumbles when he becomes addicted to steroids.
The Gillette ad, called 'We Believe: The Best Men Can Be', takes aim at bullying and sexual harassment and has been viewed more than four million times on YouTube around the world, although it is only being shown fully in the U.S.
But while it has amassed 85,000 likes, it has also racked up 347,000 dislikes with some of the 98,657 comments below accusing it of being 'anti-male and anti-white' and of 'spreading pure propaganda and indoctrination.'
Kim Gehrig, the director of the new ad, is an Australian mother-of-two who lives in London, England, and has a lengthy history of taking aim at social ills through her work.

I spent some time in the desert myself. That was a disturbing series of books. Tip hat.
SaveFerris, I love ya, but please don’t ever send me a picture of that GOON. It spoils my day.

I suspect you’re a Cars superfan; only superfans would care about such minutiae. I wouldn’t expect you to share my view.
I can imagine some dude with his trusty straight edge razor saying to himself, “I need to eliminate my toxic masculinity. I need to shave all of my toxic male hair from my entire body! I’ll start with my pubic hairs . . . Whoops! Oh my god! What did I doooooooeeeeeeeeeee!”
kimmie has cost P&G and their shareholders billions.
She should stick to trying to raise her children.
Maybe she can get a yob at starbucks or something.
I got news for gillette, us old guys still shave every day and we have the money. Good luck with the fuzzy face kids as your remaining customer base.
[ Heard on TV Gillette said they aren’t backing down. ]
Great. I hope the run the company right into the ground if that’s how they are. Won’t miss them one bit.
Excellent
Because they’re Google
[As I understand it, Dick’s has since closed 84 stores]
I love happy stories
Well, ya talked about foreigners (cough) that want men to act like women. I thought I’d show their false prophet....hehehe.
#1. My son and I are joining you. If a business hates men, esp. white men, America, and our way of life, Fu*k them. Let’s put them out of business.
There are other pro-American shaving products companies that we can buy from.
Remember, Gillette. Once you lose an old customer, you almost never regain them and their trust of you.
[As a former small business manager, I can attest to that. That is why we had customers for many decades. They trusted us].
Get Woke, Go Broke!
"I dont even shave with razors. But Im about to go buy some @Gillette."

Not a Cars super fan, not really sure what one is but I do like The Cars and I do recognize thier place in rock and roll history.
That being said. I thought some of the “old timers’ on here would appreciate the “trivia” that Alberto Vargas came out of retirement in 1979 to create one last piece of art.
Well, he’s a Democrat, so....
Palmolive works just a well as Dawn. My wife recently bought a big jug and only just let me know that she had been refilling the Dawn bottle on the sink with it.
Given his actions his first week, I would say he has aspirations for higher offices.
Interesting stuff pops up when you Google his name.
If you haven’t, you should.
Palmolive (Colgate brand)
I found that Palmolive had a nice, piquant after-dinner flavor - heavy, but with a touch of mellow smoothness.
