Bob James album "Touchdown" was on Tappan Zee Records label and included the track "Angela", better known as the theme to "Taxi" and featured the late great Eric Gale on guitar.

Thanks I'll have to check out Bob James and Eric Gale as I loved that song when I was younger. When you mentioned Eric Gale the first thing I thought of was the left handed black guitarist that was a child prodigy of sorts back in the late 80s named Eric Gales.

This Eric Gales was being promoted as sort of the second coming of Jimi Hendrix. I don’t think that really panned out though.
