I think that “where the worm never dies” pretty much settles it.


That particular scripture is an excellent example of the challenge both sides have with this.

What is “the worm”, and what does “never dies” mean? How one answers those questions will give you a clue regarding their perspective on “hell”.

i.e. it only settles it, depending on one’s interpretation and understanding of the root source and culture from which the phrase comes.

I do think the context is perfectly clear, as well as it being read in conjunction with other scripture on the subject.
