I fully expected China to resolve this issue before the end of the Clintooon Admin. They had paid Slick Willy and the Dems plenty of money to look the other way... I was glad to be wrong on that. I imagine that few Americans today are even aware that we have a strategic obligation to Taiwan - or would even care.
