Not that I am defending the guy at all, but looked to me like a group of “yutz” got a little to big for their britches... thought because they’re were kids (adults won’t touch us) and in numbers they had the advantage....

Oh lord spare me that old “father in the home” garbage. Most of the available men are dangers in themselves. Drunk, violent, lazy. If there was a loving, caring, humble, hardworking, kind, protective, gentle, funny father in the home, yes, that would help.
