Health care has certainly changed over the past several decades. You have probably noticed that as soon as you have explained your symptoms to the doctor - he whips out his/her prescription pad and sends you on your way.
A relative was explaining to me how the large chain pharmacies charge a lot more (X6) for one prescription than her local drug store.
What I also find disturbing is the number of anti-depressants that are routinely prescribed for the normal stresses and anxieties of everyday life. We are becoming zombies. Our grandparents dealt with far more serious challenges and weathered storms with faith and family.
Diet and exercise - used to be home cooked fresh products and physical labor. Medicine was an aspirin!!!!
He is the El Chapo of the pharmaceutical industry.

He needs to stand in line. If there were indeed doctors prescribing that medication to patients with no need for it, they need to be charged as well.
The company he used to push those drugs through their doctors? Needs to be completely shut down and their leadership on down needs to be charged.
No one’s hands were clean in this situation on the business side of the line.
Part of the problem is that doctors were at one time thought to be honest and respected based on this facet of honesty. With many doctors that concept is out of the door.....
The doctors I see? I double check on all the medications I am issued...
I was just advised by a specialist to stop taking a medication the day I saw him because he believed it was an underlying factor of medical issues. I took his advice and within a week or so, the medical issues for which I saw him started to wane...
My local physician is good... it was just seeing a specialist who was trained in a different field was the difference....
I don’t do well with any type of mind altering drugs, for which I am actually grateful. While it’s made working through issues very rough, at least it’s kept me off that particular hamster-wheel!
The amount of lives ruined by direct contact with those opiods and those who are in their sphere... terrible, terrible.
Murder is too good a charge. Every cent, every piece of property, his freedom, his life, needs to be taken from him.
Normally I find it a harsh punishment to leave nothing for the family; NOT IN THIS CASE.
I'm going to be as nice as I can on this subject.
How about the fda shut off your oxygen supply forever ?
Because there are those that have legitimate needs for Pain Meds to enable SOME quality of Life. Just because you can take a Tylenol 3 and it solves your pain problems doesn't mean that works for Everyone.
Insys Therapeutics.
Non-adictive alternative for chronic pain: Systemic Enzymes.
The legal pushing of poison continues. Disgusting!
I was peripherally involved in this case as an SIU manager working on behalf of a major worker’s comp insurer. As it turned out, the lead FBI agent on the case is a good friend from college I hadn’t spoke to in many years.
Just give grandma a pill..

Good grief !
You think they try to give this stuff to their own family members ?
