Christian athlete, author, sports broadcaster and movie producer Tim Tebow is now officially an engaged man.
According to PEOPLE Magazine, the Heisman Trophy winner proposed to his girlfriend and 2017 Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters on Wednesday.
The pair were visiting the Minor League baseball player’s family farm in Jacksonville, Florida when he decided to pop the question.
PEOPLE reports that the couple went for a walk by a small lake on his family’s property where Tebow had an arbor and bench – engraved with the day of the couple’s first date – installed.
The magazine reports that Tebow also had South African singer Matthew Mole hidden behind a hay bale and ready to serenade the newly engaged couple. After Nel-Peters said yes to marrying the former NFL Quarter Back, Mole emerged from behind the hay bale and sang “The Wedding Song” for the couple.
The pair was then joined by their family members. Tebow had flown Nel-Peters' family and friends in from South Africa as a surprise for his soon to be wife.
Thursday afternoon Nel-Peters posted a series of photos capturing the moment on Instagram. In the caption, she wrote, “Any dreams I’ve ever had, you’ve exceeded them all! I love you and I can’t wait to spend forever with you!”

Again, some things are intimate and private and there is NOTHING wrong with that.

Sorry, but even if you want to document it for yourself, publishing it all for the world is not motivated by the reason or desire to want it documented...

Please, you can take pictures... but when you publish them for the world to see, you aren’t “reliving” anything... you are dealing with a different urge and desire altogether.

The point seems more that it offends your sensibilities so they shouldn’t do it....remind you of anyone?

For some reason you looked for, and found, a “reason” to criticize Tebow for the way he proposed on family property and the “flaunting” ring. I think I know why.
