Another decline in American exceptionalism: The falling fertility rate

As people and places become richer, women tend to have fewer children. The most obvious reason being that poverty, as in the past, means seeing a quarter of your babies die before their fifth year. So, as wealth increases, this happens less, and it is necessary to have fewer births in order to still ensure that only meaningful result of life, the production of grandchildren.

It is also true that a richer place provides more for people to do other than just pump out more babies, and so, people do more of those other things.

Too Many people sitting on their ass. Men getting fatter legs and guts allowing heat build up around testes coupled with sitting and sedentary lifestyles. Both sexes constantly have cell phones in pockets right next Thursday their gonads. I guess the earth belongs to those who move.

Finding a guy a woman would trust to be a good father is taking longer for some women, for a variety of reasons.

Not for the children of my married peers.

Each has produced Grandchildren from males originating from the third world.
