People like Ginsburg see themselves as too indispensable to leave their job, ever. They would rather die at their desk. To retire is to die. They are hollow people with no self worth beyond their God-given job. As far as they are concerned no one can replace them, ever.
Funny thing is, the world has always been full of these people and they die on a regular basis and...the world goes on. In most cases, the world is improved by their absence as they have stayed well beyond their best-by date.
They were THAT SURE Hillary would win.
