Whether Trump gets another republican in the court, or whether democrats keep his nomination on ice for two years, the Supreme Court will still be composed of a republican majority. If only 8 justices remain for 2 years, that will leave it with a 5 to 3 majority for republicans.
Time for democrats in congress to start making deals with Trump, or things could get worse for them once Trump nomiates a strong conservative.

You’re assuming Roberts and Kavanaugh are both conservatives. I have serious doubts about both. Scalia was a good conservative. Neither of these guys hold a candle to him. I still think his death was far too suspicious.
