110 Miles on a charge is not very far compared to the gasoline engine that will give you several hundred miles on a tank.
People like to make that comparison, but, it's a lot worse than that for any EV versus a fuel-powered vehicle.
A fuel-powered vehicle can go around the U.S. and back and do it all again, many times, and the only time they need to stop is for a very tiny amount of time, somewhere around 5 minutes each time. IOW, fuel-powered range is unlimited, while an EV has to stop for hours in order to get recharged fully.

An EV does not have to stop for hours to recharge at a high-current charger. Tesla’s Superchargers can have the drivers on their way in as few as 15 minutes.
