Immigration “reform” should not be any kind of basket of changes.
Immigration and border security positions should stand and fall on their own, not be horse traded.
Border security comes first. Then we can talk and vote, one at a time on other immigration law changes.
Either the Dims want border security & the shut down to end, or they don’t.
