Probably not very fast. There will be political pressure to prevent and/or legal pressure brought by politicians. There will also likely be protests, sit ins and maybe even violence against those building it.
I still think this is nothing more than gamesmanship. But if Trump announces that he’s citing an emergency to build the wall tonight, I don’t know how this ends. All hell will break loose politically.
Hell will be broke loose one way or another sooner or later. W was afraid of it and gave in. He could have been a very good president.

Let's see, we have a so called news media that acts like Democrat activists slamming the President with blatant bias 24/7 and we have the Democrat party quite literally calling him a liar and wanting to impeach him - so I am currently witnessing all hell breaking loose. The corrupt lying media is not the new normal - it's crisis, it's chaos, it's overdue to ignore them and their party.
Trump thrives on ALL HELL BREAKING LOOSE politically, I think he actually LOVES their heads exploding, I do believe though that if the military can build in other countries building to PROTECT the US and it’s citizens should be a NO BRAINER, their main duty is to protect the United States against ALL enemies both foreign AND domestic I don’t see how the courts can stop this, militaries job is to PROTECT American soil!!!!
