Interesting. I think women, just start hitting their peak when they’re 50. It depends of course, if they’ve been divorced, as I find many post divorce women in contempt of men their age or older, so they go after the younger guys.
I’ve been where this guy is, in thought. You date a younger gal, and yes, they make you feel young, but after a time, they make you feel old too.
The other thing, is all told, it seems like true love and companionship is more to do with the cerebral and communication regarding commonality rather than the physical attraction, although that is important also.
I had a date some years back, soon after I was divorced. The gal was attractive, very much so, younger than me, and on the first date it was like we couldn’t talk enough on a variety of topics.
Then, while we’re watching a jazz quartet in one of these Chicago Lounges, she turns to me, out of the blue and says:
“Wasn’t Nixon such a crook?”
IOWs her true liberal left leaning democrat colors, came out. I gave her cab fair, and said “Good Night.”
