I have listened to his speech again in its entirety and have seen clips here and there. I’m not tuning in to whatever it is that has you thinking this way. However, I think I will listen to it again this week, after giving it a rest, to see if I pick up on what you are saying.

Gave a listen to the speech again today. Viewed the FoxNews youtube video. It was a little more interesting this time.

I noticed just a couple things:
1. At the beginning somewhere around :06 to :07, he either misspoke, or swallowed a syllable. “I’m - ah - speaking...”. (When he says, “ah”).
Was there a glitch in the recording?
2. At :41, he pauses immediately after the word ‘illegal’. ...”by uncontrolled illegal migration.”
3. At 2:41, he pauses immediately after the word “end”. “I am determined to end...”
4. At the end of the video the Presidential Seal is displayed from 9:39 to 9:41 (39, 40, 41), after which the video is ended already when 9:42 is displayed.
Ok. So, is the FoxNews video the one I should be viewing?

Other than that, I thought POTUS was very focused and deliberate. His approach reached me, and I felt anew the urgency of the crisis.
Yes, I would have preferred more explanation as regards the 20k. But the timing probably is not right..
No, it wasn’t the Rally-Trump we know, but I’m thinking it was another side of POTUS.
...just some thoughts after looking at the video again. No historian here (nope), or especially knowledgeable about politics.
But thought this interesting. Might be some fodder here for discussion. And then again, maybe not. I do have some unexpressed thoughts on some of this, but I wonder if I could be stretching?
An Aside. What an experience this has been. I lost nearly all of this work once. A partial backup helped me breathe some life back into it. Whew. Digging isn’t easy.
