OH, I know that my objection and opinion are not relevant to you. No biggie. However, my point in raising the objection was to make it clear that I do not approve or endorse the use of that word in that manner. When I hear that word, I think of sewing I used to do, where I joined the lace to the hem of a dress, or (my favorite) adding a piece of linen to the bottom of a skirt.
Somehow I think it's important to make these objections known, lest I get painted with the same brush. For most things, I'd stand with you, LJ, but not this. I like you and most of what you say. Your use of that word in that way is just one of the "unique" attributes that make you, you.
