I’ve never cared for Cruz. I think you’re right about the debate demeanor, but to me, he just seems like another swarmy carpetbagger, smooth talking, beady-eyed, weasley, smell good politician. Spit!
When Trump attacked him over his alleged affair and he limp wrist smacked back at him with his forceful words and that lady pol stepped in to help defend him, well, that did it for me.
I think he’s grown the beard so people won’t remember him from 2016 in 2020. :D
