I somewhat agree that his talk could have benefited from more details of the horrors that illegals do. I’m not sure about ultra graphic, but defintely the serious sexual abuse and slavery of children, huge number of rapes of children and adults (both men and women), deaths of the previous, and torture and murders of LEOs, vets. Could have had a more punch; but I can see some reasoning in the way he presented the information.
Reason? To open the eyes of those who are blind. Those who are not blind to this learned nothing new, but there are some (unknown number) who know nothing. Since the majority of Americans DO want border security which includes wall/fence/impassible barrier, he really needed to make it clear to the blind that there are HUGE problems.
For such blind ones, extremely graphic stuff might likely seem exaggerated or not truth, Spoon feeding is necessary at times. Once they digest some spoon feeding, then they can handle the tough to chew stuff.
I have increasingly become convinced that the time for spoon feeding Pablum is over or needs to be over. Enough already yet.
