Corporations real tax rate is zero. The taxes they pay are passed on to the consumer in the cost of goods. An increase in corporation taxes is really a tax on the public at large.

That’s really a hard pill for journalists or politicians to grasp. Every fee and tax handed to companies....go direct to the consumer. You go and put a 10-cent tax on diesel fuel, thinking that truckers and companies will absorb the tax...no, they pass it direct to the consumer. You go to bulk-electrical users and put a fee on their usage, it goes to the consumer to pay.
This is all about a fake message that Democrats want the public to think about.

You are absolutely correct. There is no such thing as a corporate tax -- only taxes imposed on corporations that are ultimately paid by consumers.
A point that all Dems miss is that it is a regressive tax, taking a higher percentage of the income of a poor person than a wealthy one.
