Hal Lindsey has been predicting it's imminent for 50 years and his book has been in a few dozen revisions.

And people keep buying it...

Hal Lindsey is responsible for many thousands becoming interested in eschatology. God bless him in that regard.

IMO, he got much wrong in his first book, and even his revisions contain much that isn't accurate, again IMO.

Prophets warned> (paraphrasing):

Many false prophets would rise.
Many would go mad trying to decipher prophecy.
People would ridicule those warning of the times.

Again, the prophets in the bible have been proven correct. ;)
