Okay ....perfect.
They can pick anyone they like. It’s a bloated, long-winded snooze-fest not fit for public consumption. The best thing about it is that they take it (and one another) apart over how bad it is.
But the Hollywood crowd wouldn’t have it any other way. The after-Oscars snark-fest is the one thing they enjoy more than the Oscars themselves.
Woods or Gary Sinese could pull this off:
Be professional
Be courteous
Humor is good but:
No sexual (or sexuality) jokes
No Political jokes
No ethnic based jokes
Take some advice from Billy Crystal or hire him as your writer
If they did all of the above, their ratings would begin to recover.
I guess we’ll have to wait and see the written reviews of the show. If we even bother with that. Screw follywood.

How about holding the awards in a private setting without broadcasting it and then just give us a list of the winners.
But seriously, when it gets better ratings than all the other awards shows they'll be forced to take notice.
