Optimum.net screwed with new Altice browser?

While logging into my emails at Optimum.net account, I got surprise. They changed browser to Altice something, page layout completely different.

Mail page has Inbox - Drafts - Sent Objects - Spam - Trash - Archive folders.

"My Folders" is empty, not showing any of the my private folders, where I saved important emails.

Spent 2 hours on the computer with support, only to come up empty, no solution, no private folders. "Bringing up the problem with Optimum engineers."

In the past there was a choice of using old format, now nothing.

Hope they recover our folders!!!

Most of the “free” or extra service tech bits are updating to trackable models.
Can’t let you alone.
Gotta watch, analyze, report everything you do.
Be a good sport Comrade. It’s for your own good ya know.

It’s kind of bad idea to keep important sensitive docs in an online mailbox. Convenient yes but a bad idea. Mailbox are hacked to often.

Screw up by a low level tech. They were supposed to send copies of your emails to the NSA, not the originals.

Alleluia, looks like Optimum wizards managed to restore my private folders, they show up and seem to be OK in My Folders. Hope it works for everybody else.
Thank you Optimum!

I typed at google: Altice browser
Your post showed up.....

This for your tv set?
BTW you can get sling tv for your Roku box. Just $35/mo and you get much more then the regular cable company offers.
I use Thunderbird for my email. The email is in a open format and can be imported by other programs.

When I worked a long time ago for Earthlink ISP they had Earthlink 5 web browser which was junk but it tracked anyone who used it. They had propitiatory bookmarks so you could not import them to another browser and a music service that let you download music but once you stopped paying then the music would not play either. Very angry customers.

That was on PC Win7 using either IE or Chrome.
My Folder(s) just dissapeared after they changed the Email page.

I use both T bird and my own web domain email server. Encryption is nice.
