If Apple starts making them in the USA they will cost 2000 instead of 1000.

Your crazy. Google the cost of making an iphone. Labor per phone is $16.00 per phone. If made in the USA maybe double the labor cost so your 1,000 iphone is now $1,032. Big deal
The problem with Apple’s business model is that they need you to but a new phone every couple of years. That’s $500 and increasing every year for the rest of your life. That is a lot of $. Oh, and do this by planned obsolescence.
If Apple makes there iPhone in the U.S. they will price them to be competitive with the other brands of phones. They just won’t be able to use slave labor and help finance the Chinese war machine anymore.
