This really puts the snits and quirks of my own children in perspective. Tom, Sally, you’re actually marvelous, compared to what’s out there.

But move out anyway.

I love my kids, too, but I'm kind of looking forward to experiencing an empty nest. For now, I'll settle for getting my kitchen back...my wife finally settled on the countertops she wanted, and I'm hoping they'll be installed next week.

BTW, the empty nest is a few years off, at a minimum. My youngest has two more years of high school.
