(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either satire or opinion. Or both.)

What can make it spread rapidly is, that fluid can become airborne by coughing and sneezing.

Just imagine oneself in such a position that fleeing to Uganda is your only salvation.

"Some Congolese trying to cross the border were forced back after resisting the efforts..."
Looks like Uganda is gonna need a wall.

One of the most dangerously contagious diseases is breaking out in one of the most stubbornly primitive nations in the world.
A real United Nations would send some of their troops in to quarantine and manage this outbreak.
The politicians of the Congo have shown that they either cannot or will not maintain order.

Perhaps obamy could fly them over to his house.

And the virus can stay at least six months in a survivor in their bodily fluids, i.e semen and milk.
Seriously, that is scary beyond belief.

Bring Out Your Dead
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
