This would be much more likely for sure. The chances of a binary orbit of two different sized objects that small might be pretty slim, if not impossible. It would be an absolutely incredible find if it was! :)

I agree, at that close proximity they would probably become one anyways. The light reflection in the images as poor as they are look like it is one solid odd shaped object.
Really can’t wait to see more!
