How would the privately financed wall be funded?

How does a private venture get Right of Way to build a wall on private property?

They might have to pay out of the nose for the right of way if the seller is recalcitrant, but I’d think most property owners along the border would be eager to have the wall protecting them.

In general, I think making a very attractive financial offer to the property owner to build the wall (which he likely wants anyway) would work. Those with bleeding hearts and unwalled property, will then be overrun with criminal invaders, and would probably have a real change of heart. My concern is more how to protect the private builders of the private wall.

Not sure that’s relevant - I thought a Bill approving the wall has been passed by an earlier Congress but hasn’t been acted on....when a government project is approved, contractors do the work...what’s the difference here - except the Left twill go bananas and haul out a lot of pet “judges”....
