I forgot to add. I have two rescue dogs. They are most loyal and good pets. Their are many good dogs at the pound. However, there are many that are not good dogs. One must be very careful when selecting. The best rescue dogs are those that had a good home once. That is all they want and will transfer their former affection to their past owner to you in just a few days. They just want a good home with an owner that will care for them and love them.

My last rescue dog was at my home for only a couple of days when he escaped from my poor fencing, since replaced. He ran around the neighborhood for a few hours. At sunset he was sitting on my front porch asking to came back inside. He knew a good deal when he saw it.

Cost of rescue dog was 25 dollars. Cost of a good fence to give them ample room about 5000 dollars, I have a lot of land. It was a good deal. My dogs would lay down their life for my family. It is good to know they are home when I am not, I know my wife is safe.
