It's the optics we need to be concerned about. 99% of the media is not on our side and tempting as it is to smash some of these people in the face (much deserved at that), you know and I know that the entire media coverage will be on the conservative smashing the liberal in the mouth.

I am convinced that conservatives are being baited in these situations. Our best response is exactly what we saw here. Make the screaming liberal the a-hole and let our side come across as the reasonable ones. This entire episode with the Vape guy was a win-win for us. No downside whatsoever.

Also, there was a followup video where the conservative guy went to another vape shop and was embraced by the clerk and had his business welcomed there. Now this video did come across as somewhat staged but the Left can't be happy here.

As matters stand, the bozo yelling hysterically was fired and the MAGA hat wearer got an apology from the store owners, along with a video drawing a lot of national attention to another example of leftist bigotry.

The alternative you propose would have had the MAGA hat wearer involved in a physical conflict which would almost certainly have resulted in legal consequences and a possible jail stay and lawsuit. The adult world isn't the school playground - self-defense is one thing, physically attacking some idiot because he runs his mouth is another. The MAGA hat wearer handled things perfectly.

Watched it several times - I get the feeling that beardboy in yelling "racist!" was trying to manipulate the black customer into going after the guy, but he didn't take the bait. Typical coward maggot, trying to get someone else to do the dirty work they're too chicken to do themselves.
