Historically, Oklahoma has been the bane of the Alabama Crimson Tide’s existence.
In five previous meetings, the Tide has a single win. That’s one of the worst records in Alabama’s long and storied history against a team it has played at least five times.
In the last discussion someone on this forum claimed the SEC had only 3 good teams.

I’m primarily an Auburn fan who pulls for Bama when they are not playing Auburn.
I doubt that OK has seen defenses like Alabama. I don’t think Alabama can shut OK down completely. I look for OK to score 17 - 24 points.
Lack of defense is what will kill OK. My gut feeling is that Bama wins by about 2 -3 touchdowns. If you can’t pressure Tua into stressed throws, he will eat you alive. I think a key to the way the game goes is whether OK can pressure Tua. If they can, you will see Jalen Hurts by the second quarter. But Bama wins regardless
Most experts predict a high scoring game.
I will go against the grain and predict a “low” scoring game.
Alabama will defeat Oklahoma 31 - 17.

Oklahoma hasn’t faced a defense as tough and quick as Alabama’s. I have no doubt the Tide will be able to move the ball against OU’s abysmal D without a problem. The question will be if the Sooners high powered offense can move the ball against the Tide’s defense. If they can it could be a good game. If not, turn out the lights early for OU!
All I have to say is Alabama had better win as they are in the same line as Duke in basketball in that they are basically a national all star team. I just looked at their roster and only 34% of their players are from Alabama. Not sure about what percentage are starters. Of course, the majority of Oklahoma players are from Texas so they have no excuse for not winning the Big 12 every year.

I just want Clemson to kick Notre Dame’s butts and win by 30+. Still hate Notre Dame since the time they went off and made their own TV deal and screwed over the rest of college football. Yes, my memory is very long.
Kyler Murray does not look like a Heisman quarterback. More like a D3 with a deer in the headlights look.
What a waste these games are. Everybody knew who the best two teams already were.
