What is more cruel than systematically rounding up people into camps to be robbed, raped and killed en masse?

I suppose Hitler may have considered the Chinese to be more human than his extermination targets (jews, gypsies, gays, etc)

I once worked with a Chinese lady who was a survivor of Nanking. One day this huge biker walked into the shop wearing a headband with the Japanese rising sun symbol (the Japanese battle flag) and she just lost it. He was about 6 foot tall and she was under 5, but I thought she was going to rip him to shreds.

Even the Japanese realized they had screwed up at Nanking...subsequent cities taken in China were not allowed to be similarly ravaged and massacred by the victorious troops.
