If a state allows it, claiming lottery winnings through a trust or LLC allows the winner to protect their privacy.

I'm not a lawyer so it could be wrong for me to have specifically mentioned an "LLC".But I've read that some winners of big prizes,after consulting a lawyer,set up one form,or another,of corporate/legal entity to claim the prize,this allowing the winner to remain anonymous.
