I wouldn’t wish being a child actor on anyone. They grow up but fans still want to see “that kid”. But they’re not 6 anymore, they’re 16, they’re 26. Hollywood is littered with discarded child actors who never were able to make the step into adult acting. And it takes it’s toll.
Plus that whole butt rape thing...
Jerry Mathers (”the Beaver”), and the kid who played “Ralphie” on “A Christmas Story”. Talk about child actors who didn’t age well, and whose careers collided with a brick wall.
