You know if this was a Dem led committee the headline for the same actions would be this:

And this is Fox News, who supposedly are "fair and balanced", but are still giving us Deep State spin with their headlines. I've rewritten the lede, like it should be:

The two committee chairs, both very senior legislators, Reps. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., and Robert Goodlatte, R-Va. – in a letter Friday called for the DOJ to appoint a special counsel to investigate the disparate treatment of the investigations into Clinton’s use of private emails and Trump’s alleged ties to Russia.
The committee's work has conclusively demonstrated how top FBI officials were biased against then-candidate Donald Trump in 2016, pointing to Peter Strzok, the disgraced FBI official who was ousted from Robert Mueller’s team and later from the agency after his anti-Trump text messages with his colleague and lover Lisa Page were revealed.

It doesn't take much to change the thrust of a story like this. Sad that Fox is taking the low road, they do that more and more now. (Tucker and a few others excepted).
