the poor people get nothing, but workiing in mines for Chinese who treat them like filth, or even enslaving them. They need to bring a bunch of crazed "Mandelas" over there.

Example of why I rarely visit the rest of FR.
I’m a high school dropout and even I know that Congress is merely a legislative body and does not have the authority to arrest anyone.

Isn't "Journalistic ethics" an oxymoron? Because we have a First Amendment that guarantees freedom of the press I don't think there will ever be any prosecution of journalists for violation of "journalistic ethics".
Generally speaking you have to break a law to be prosecuted. What law would a reporter be breaking taking money from HRC to print her spin on issues? People have entire magazines and web sites dedicated to promoting a single issue or person. This is not illegal, it's part of what our system guarantees.
So, I think the meme is claiming something that is obviously untrue.

But when 90+% of their "reporting" is negative to Trump/Republicans and positive to the democRats that isn't journalism, that's advocacy. They all need to be sanctioned for campaign contribution violations for the value of all that air time/page space.

Don’t understand how anyone could have heard the F-bomb in what Grover said.
Agree on everything else in your post.

It's rare that NPR (which we taxpayers *still* pay for) ever allows anyone on their shows who is a true Trump supporter. Instead they prefer RINOs, who will reliably agree with the framing assertions in their questions.
The interviewee here, Chris Buskirk, founder of American Greatness (a great web site of pro-Trump opinion) refuses to go along with any of the interviewers assertions, turning each one on its head.
This is quite funny and a masterclass in dealing with hostile press.

A side note about blackmail: in his first State of the Union address, didn't Trump say something to the attendees about being "liberated"? There was also an event where 600,000+ files at the Utah NSA were purged subsequent to the SOTU address. Hmmm...

Yes, I think that has been a fairly common theme. And thanks for the OSUMB nod :)

It's just laughable to listen to CNN, which I get on my car radio (XM). You can't listen to them for more than 30 seconds, day or night, and not hear Trump bashing. It's like they have Tourettes Syndrome.
