You can say that again ... It certainly will not last. Concussionball is going to be like boxing in a decade or two ... Kids aren’t playing it as much as they used to ... Some schools are fielding 8 or 10 player teams due to the lack of interest (that was unheard of 20 years ago here in SW PA). Other school districts have taken a lot of criticism blowing millions of dollars on football fields since, you know, we’ve fixed all of our education and property tax problems.
What pisses me off to no end are the billions of dollars these idiotic sports franchises have stolen from taxpayers. I used to enjoy baseball, but I don’t even want to set foot in PNC Park anymore thanks to the scumbags, piece of trash welfare recipient owner and his disgusting colleagues.
Football is on a level of scum yet to be defined seeing that their frigging playgrounds are used 10 to 20 times a year at most and the league is swimming in enough loot to build a team a new playground each year out of their own pockets. To top things off, their pile of trash commissioner just got a salary equal to what the Steelers requested for Heinz Field.
May they all burn in hell. Every frigging one of them ... Degenerate thieves.
I also agree that because of helmets and the false sense of security football gear gives players, concussions have become a huge problem - and will likely sink the sport. I used to box, and now think the sport is crazy - considering what can happen to your brain. I think the same of football. It's not about being ‘too soft’ etc, which some on this board might say. Everyone’s brain is soft, and vulnerable, and when it gets slammed around inside your skull it's not good for you.
