This country needs federal employees, so denigrating them with “just quit, work elsewhere” is both disrespectful unfeeling.
What you said. Are not too many of us that can just quit and find another job.
This country needs federal employees, so denigrating them with just quit, work elsewhere is both disrespectful unfeeling.””’
ANY operation that needs employees needs ONLY those employees-—and not any extra NON-ESSENTIAL employees.
This isn’t about ‘FEELINGS’-—this is about common sense & running the country in the same manner that millions of small business owners do—every hour-every day-every year——
They used to call this dead-heading on the railroad.
IF I don’t need any ‘extra employees——WHY should I reduce MY paycheck to hire such????
Not disrespectful or unfeeling. I have left many a job over policy. It is what people do to better themselves.
Best to avoid confusing ‘This country needs federal employees’ with ‘This country needs me!’
This country needs federal employees, so denigrating them with just quit, work elsewhere is both disrespectful unfeeling.

You mean everyone has the RIGHT to things always going well for them? And the job of gov’t is to make sure we are taken care of, comfortable, and safe.
Well, gollee - I just got a CIVICS LESSON!!
The Federal Government is bloated and inefficient.
I think we all understand that. I bet you could ask any Federal employee for examples and get a list a yard long.
In 99% of the time the inefficiency is people.
No one wants to hear they are part of the problem. I am empathetic as both of my parents were employed in State and Federal jobs. They were diligent and dedicated public servants. They both had great pensions and insurance.
But the reality is we keep sending reps to DC who spend more than we bring in. We spend without justifying that the program works, and they go on forever.
When it stopsand it will, people will lose their jobs. Thats not disrespectful, its the truth.
Which ones do we need? Think hard now...
