I wish people would have remembered that regarding Gowdy and the Benghazi hearings. Congress is the legislative body, not law enforcement or prosecution.
Gowdy could do no more than he did, with a DOJ run by Holder and then Lynch.
And now, anything revealed even in a closed hearing, is heard by Dems who will immediately leak or inform their buddies in crime, what to speak of open hearing. The DoJ is working working working. Congress can do its own business without trying to mess up ongoing investigations. Congress should cut illegals from getting one red penny of fed $ for one thing.
